Daine Savona is busy making fossils from textiles and I think they are wonderful.Diane uses salvaged cloth, garments, domestic found objects and intensive hand stitching to create fossil specimens that present textiles as archaeological artefact's. Her art is an attempt to preserve our domestic history and re present amazing skills of past generations in a contemporary context.
