Segawa Yasuo

After the lines of David Jones yesterday, I found this  intriguing children's book written by Sato Wakko: 'Somehow' 1994. It is about a tortoise who wants to run with pictures by Japanese
illustrator Segawa Yasuo (1932-2010). Like the images of David Jones these illustrations are created using a chaotic confusion of lines, a visual cacophony which you need to negotiate carefully to find the meaning.
