Initially at Risotto we worked as two groups creating the two layers required to demonstrate the effects of Risography using collage and mark making (see above). We could then see how the colour flattened out and then the effect of merging the two layers in two colours (see below).

Riso . . . Risotto I
On Friday I attended a workshop at Risotto in Glasgow, run by Mari Campistron and Gabriella Marcella in Risograph Printing with my friend Lucie. I didn't know what to expect which was lovely, so I took my trusty art bin and laptop and off we went. Risotto is a wonderful bright space and had an exhibition of Risograph art from around the world including many artists books.
