Mushuko Takabe II

Mushuko Takabe is a Japanese painter and illustrator who uses a lot of texture and colour in her work, and I love it, somehow these works reminded me of Max Ernst's monoprints and his surrealist approaches to triggering imagery.

This is my first post about Mushuko Takabe and I have chosen this image purely for its colours. Mushuko Takabe grew up in Okachimachi in Tokyo near the area of Akiabara famous for Anime. Mushuko studied at Kuwasawa Design School Tokyo.
