Mirosław Pokora IV

'Babcia na jabłoni' (Grandma in the Apple Tree) Mira Lobe and illustrated by Mirosla Pokora intrigued me, I liked the idea of a crazy grandmother in an apple tree, and as I couldn't find as many illustrations as I would have liked, I bought the book.
So here is a selection of the typically genius line drawings of Miroslav Pokora.

Mirosław Pokora II

Illustrated by Mirosław Pokora (1933-2006) Thorbjørn Egner's (1912-1990) story about 'The Robbers of Kardamonu'.
The illustrations in this book remind me of course of Gerald Rose'e works. I especially like Miroslaw's line work, which has a life of its own in the depictions of hair and smoke.

Mirosław Pokora I

Mirosław Pokora (1933-2006) illustrations of  '30th of February' by Wanda Chotomska a story allowed because or inspite of its none existent date. It is a strange and charming story about a pair of Hedgehogs who run a brush shop. Miroslaw was a Polish illustrator and graphic designer from Warsaw.
