'Selkie' by Josephine Birch is a beautiful, delicate, wordless picture book published by Starfish Bay, which tells the tale of love and friendship across boundaries. 

In a small village by the sea the fishermen are full of tales and myths of monsters, pirates and mermaids but there is one myth that may be true… the selkie.

Josephine Birch has been working on large scale monoprints that explore the themes of; ‘Traffic’ and ‘Contrails and Murmurations’., which she intends exhibiting between tiny etchings of trees, beasts, and homes.
