Gwen Samuels prints images onto transparencies and then stitches them by hand to create ghostly dresses, like negatives they are intimate and personal and somehow full of loss. " The images I choose are not presented in cinematic logic. they are fragments and details - with shape shifting, miniaturization and enlargement.
