Andre Francois

. . . and suddenly there were fish-birds and bird-fish everywhere, this one is by the wonderful designer, cartoonist and illustrator André François ( 1915-2005). (thank you Laura)

Kyle Pellet

The weeks selection has, so far, been full of dashes of vivid colour. This is a piece by Kyle Pellet, but it is not typical of this artists works. Kyle is from San Jose, California and has a similar style to David Shrigley, in that it is political, raw and challenging.

Tomi Ungerer

I had to find this image today by Tomi Ungerer, I am a lazy blogger at the moment, sorry, I have a home full of visitors and as of last night we now have a small black kitten, who has printed mud all over my bathroom three times in 'wall of death' style.
