A Boy Went Out to Gather Pears, by Felix Hoffmann published in 1966 by Oxford University Press. This was the first book I found by Felix Hoffmann and I was drawn to its long skinny format and the simplicity of the almost icon 'emoji' illustrations, creating a cumulative rhyme.
