'Baby Elphant and the Secret Wishes' by written by Sesyle Joslin and illustrated by Leonard Weisgard, published in 1962. This is my first post about the illustrations of the illustrator Leonard Weisgard (1916-2000). I love this monochrome and red book, it is perfect for a Christmas story, one of his beautiful brave little elephant series.
