When my children, all now in their 40's, were growing up, we read Ira Sleeps Over all the time. Still one of my favorite children's books. I still have the well worn copy on my bookshelf. I've read it over and over again to my grandchildren. Maybe someday I'll have great-grandchildren. Bernard Waber has a special place in family memories.
