'Two Many Birds' by Cindy Derby. As birds line up to perch on a tree, an officer shouts rules at them: There's to be: No fluffin' feathers! No pooping on the ground! No nudity! The tree is filled to capacity, (100 birds) so what happens when two more are accidentally born among the branches?
This is a book about rules and when to break them, about standing up to injustice.
Love the way there really were too many birds in Cindy's studio (below) she obviously had great fun painting bird characters.
