Natalia Chirkowska

 


Let's go to the sweet shop with Natalia Chirowska, I can almost smell it, it smells like the rock factories of my childhood. 
Natalia has been shortlisted for the 55th Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition.

    I think it is heavily influenced by Beatrice Alemagna not to say copied in many aspects:(
    Use of collage, color palette, face of main character definitely looks like girl from ‘ The Wonderful Fluffy Little
    Squishy’, specific use of pencil strokes, patterns and so on so on

      I agree, but Beatrice has inspired many people who adopt her style and at the moment this style is very prevalent in Russian illustration.
