I love the illustrations for; 'Under the Great Plum Tree' published by Tiny Owl 2019, written by Sufiya Ahmed and illustrated by Reza Dalvand, they have a unique composition and have a great richness whilst also a very stylish emptiness, a perfect balance.
It is the retelling of a fable from the Panchatantra, an ancient Indian collection of animal fables dated to 300 BCE by Sufiya Ahmed, and it's also a folktale that is shared across the world, with versions found in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, China, Japan and the Caribbean.
