Zine IV

Words of Rosa Parks are combined with images of her riding a bus and some images from recent demonstrations at the brutal murder of George Floyd.
This zine was made with a heavy heart. Normally when injustice roars in my heart I turn to 'little red riding hood' as a vehicle for visual communication. However this time, it had to be a hero of humanity, a civil rights activist. It pained me to think of how this fight for our rights is a constant, with wave after wave of injustice and brave people standing up, imagining and creating a better world only for it to be eroded time after time.
