Richard Graham I

Richard Graham is a creative who mainly works in sculpture using found objects, but he has created a deeply sad and wonderful book about a caterpiller caught in a piano playing the same mournful music, The Cranky Caterpillar' published by Thames and Hudson 2017.

One day a little girl discovers this caterpiller and does her best to try to cheer him up, eventually, she thinks to bring in some music friends. It is a book about depression, about friendship and about the power of music. It is great to see such a unique, sensitive, and beautiful book in the current children's picture book genre.
