Julie Paschkis

Julie Paschkis's left-handed creations are being exhibited as part of a group exhibition that opened today at the Bainbridge Arts and Crafts Gallery. Julia had agreed to exhibit before then having a terrible accident which meant that she was unable to work with her dominant hand. However not to be thwarted Julie has worked hard to create these poetic images inspired by 'fraktur' stylized Pennsylvania-German paintings of the 18th and 19th century. Julie found her left handed style was perfectly suited to the slightly 'wonky' style and to her subject which is the plight and pleasure of love.
Thank you Wendy Wahman.

  2. I love Julie's work so much, and was blown away by her left handed work. She's also a really sweet, generous, sensitive and loving person in real life. Comes through here, doesn't it? Yay, Julie! Yay, Hazel!
