These illustrations are from a book by Elaheh Taherian inspired by a poem by Iranian poet "Tahirih Quarratu l-Ayn" and begins a week of articles featuring Iranian illustrators. Elaheh is currently living in New York and has just completed her MFA at the School of Visual Arts.
