Lotta Hagerman II

Lotta Hagerman's work is rich with cultures, some works are redolent of Egyptian Hieroglyphs others Indian miniatures and they are so modern in their construction that they remind me also of work by Blanca Gomez.
Lotta started her career as a textile designer weaving, embroidering and designing surface pattern. In the late sixties she started to move into the arena of fine art with installation work and the founding of the '10 Group'. In 1976 Lotta left the 10 group and concentrated on her painting.
