Jenny McCabe

Jenny McCabe's wonderful textile sketches of swallows. I love observing nesting swallows at work. Around the house at the moment there are excited screeching schools of house martins learning aerobatics from their parents. Jenny's sketches and appliques catch the fleeting movement and magic of these observations.

  4. These are great, We have swallows nesting in two barns and one of the sad things about winter is how quiet the skies are without them screaming around the place.

  5. Jenny...glad you are joining up "art" and textiles. All your work whether paper or fabric is beautiful and often excitingly quirky. These swallows are gorgeous and clearly a subject that attracts much charmed interest.xxx

  7. This isn't folk art, feels so contemporary, abstract. So beautiful
