I am very drawn to textile art now, and this work by Joetta Maue on up cycled household linenscaught my eye. Especially an installation that Joetta did with embroidery rings included, like the bottom image, the tautness and the circle makes it look like you are looking into a magnifying glass.
These are utterly delightful. I adore work that reuses things that had a previous life... had a lovely debate with one of my own pupils about that today.
