Samantha Cotterill

I have long admired the work of Mummysam, Samantha Cotterill, but I love her current journal pages there is something about textiles being used as paper and paper being used as textiles, and I love the humour and the humanity of these very personal works.

  1. These are lovely Hazel,...I've long been fascinated by the connection between fabric and communication like the women of Palermo in Italy writing anti-Mafia slogans on sheets or women embroidering them into quilts or weaving them into carpets.

Hope you don't mind I pinched one of your images for Milagos Papel wedding streamers I couldn't link over to your blog but gave you a mention on Making dens.....
