'Little Blue and Little Yellow' by Leo Lionni a Dutch Author and Illustrator, is a wonderful ,clever book, concieved on a train journey. Its collaged characters are just blobs of colour but they convey friendship, family, school and games as well as teaching colour theory. It is great my kids have both loved it as have we, try and get yourselves a copy.
