Man and Tricycle by William Scott R.A. (British, 1913-1989). William was born in Greenock, Glasgow and then moved with his family when he was eleven to Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. He studied at Belfast Art College and then in London where he met his wife Mary Lucas, He had a wonderful career as a teaching artist but as he became more successful he was eventually able to be a full-time artist in 1956 after growing national and international success following his work being included in the Festival of Britain exhibition.
