Vanessa Brantley Newton I

Vanessa Brantley Newton grew up in a musical family who loved to sing. she is a self-taught illustrator, doll maker, and crafter who initially studied fashion illustration at FIT and children's book illustration at the school of visual arts in new york.
Vanessa is the author and illustrator of 'Let Freedom Sing' and 'Don't Let Auntie Mabel Bless the Table' and has illustrated many books. She is an open warm person and this shines out from the work she creates.
