A real treat of the day was seeing this Joan Eardley painting from 1963 of Two Girls, the colour was wonderfully vibrant, the brush strokes and use of other media lively and inspiring, just a beautiful picture, full of humanity and spirit.
I had not realised what a tragically short life Joan had it was interesting to revisit her work and biography.
