2 Minute Beach Clean

I felt inspired to make some posters using rubbish that I had found last week whilst on my trip to Tangle'ha, Aberdeenshire. I try my best when visiting beaches to look for treasure but also to remove rubbish and have started following the #2minutebeachclean campaign. I am going to continue making these posters highlighting different types of rubbish that I find and helping to spread the message.

Yuko Irie III

Posters by Yuko Irie. I love the gentle humanity of all of her work, it reminds me of Chagall, this and the poetic use of line and hints of colour.

Lauren Rolwing II

Lauren Rolwing's posters are wonderfully clever and expressive. Throughout her portfolio she often uses stripes, the stripes as well as being visually dynamic elements of the composition, are usually integral to the subject portrayed, being hands or parts of musical instruments.
This intelligent play with visual metaphors and symbols really appeals to me.
The posters pictured were all created for The Nashville Symphony.
