Hernan Paganini I

Collage and a desire for strong colour has drawn me to the work of Argentinian artist Hernan Paganini. Hernan's modern urban style of work traverses sculpture, graphic, styling and installation.

"I am inspired by everything that surrounds me, I am amazed easily as a child. I playing with my environment, try to transform my daily reality as a result emerge moments of life through materialising the sensations that I have inside. Since I was a child collected and sorted all kinds of things that I found in the street with the passing of time this stuffs became in my raw material to develop much of my work." Herman Paganini

Gustavo Aimar I

I cannot believe that I have not blogged Gustavo Aimar's work before, I am sure this is a mistake, as I have admired it for so long. Anyway my first post in Gustavo's work has to be the almost 'by the by' creativity that inhabits his studio, small happy creations that brighten your day, just what every studio needs.

Andrea Cavagnaro

Andrea Cavagnaro is a textile artist from Beunos Aires, Argentina, who creates these intricate cut and layered felt sculptures, resembling the paper cuts of Jen Stark. And so a new week starts, fueled by a desire for colour, fuzzy felts and toxic sweets. I hope it is a good one for you all. (thanks)

Tomas Saranceno

Tomas Saranceno studied both art and architecture, his art is about space it stretches out tendrils across galleries or fills the sky with clouds. Tomas's work is concerned with how art can build dreams for the future, how art can collide with science and architecture and make our future. He has no web page that I can find, here is the best link.

I am in need of Particia Tewel's lively, vivid and wild drawings. They are like confetti, full of colour and cheer.

Cecilia Afonso Esteves

I like the cool pallet and execution of these amazingly calming illustrations by Argentinian, Cecilia Afonso Esteves. In fact Cecilia's work with its simple graphic use of paper cuts and collage is wonderfully meditative as well as having great humour.
