Amy Steele II

'A sticky situation' by Amy Steele is a story about a fisherman trying to save his business by bringing his community together with a produce sale at which pride of place is a giant jar of jam. It all goes disastrously wrong but is beautifully depicted in Amy's loose watercolour and pencil drawings.

Amy Steele I

Last night I had the chance to attend a preview of the Edinburgh College of Art Degree Show. In the next few weeks, I will be sharing some of the new talents graduating on my blogs. ECA degree show is so big, it always requires a couple of visits.

This is a tiny concertina book that I bought from Amy Steele's illustration degree show display. It is about a slug who is sad not to have a home like the snails. The slug tries on various homes including a slice of bread, a tennis ball, etc, but eventually decides upon a pink teacup.
